Across the isthmus from Loh Dalam Bay on Koh Phi Phi Don is Ton Sai Bay. The water here is deeper so has a richer blue color when viewed from a height and a more vivid aqua color when viewed from the beach. This image was more of a stretch so it's on the soft side but has almost a painterly feel to it. It's again taken from the lookout point on the eastern part of the island looking pretty much south-west. The larger boat is almost certainly a dive boat heading off to one of the many dive locations around here while the two long-tail boats are headed out to one of the other beaches, possibly Maya Bay on Koh Phi Phi Ley or one of the other bays on either of the islands. that was basically a day trip. Head out in the morning with a sack lunch and sunbathe, swim, snorkel or dive then head back to the accommodation in the evening. I've not been there now in over 20 years so, even with the Tsunami, I'm thinking it's maybe more commercial now that it was.
