I'll end this brief sequence with a photo of the moon rising over the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, florida. For this photo I was standing under the windows of the conference center looking back to the east.
On this particular day there was a wedding reception in progress and that's the origin of the colored lights on the terrace above the pool. The moon has just cleared the palm trees on the far side of the pool. Again, with no way to stabilize the camera this is from a single capture. With a multi-capture hdr I'd have been able to get a much crisper shot of the moon. As it is, I'm quite happy with the sharpness given this was hand held at a shutter speed of 0.4 seconds after two glasses of wine!
