Daily Photo – Bank of China Facade Detail

Today's photo is a of part of the northwest facade of the Bank of Tower in .

Best I can tell it's pretty much the reverse angle from yesterday's shot.

I think I was in a park to take this shot, possibly the park housing The Cenotaph. I do recall moving around to get this particular angle where the corner edge of the north-west section of the tower lined up with the beam that runs the height of the facade. Were there a beak running through the center it would echo the Union Jack which would have been a nice touch given the history of the island as a British Colony.

I wrote in an earlier post how the tower would have been unoccupied when I took this photo back in 1989. You can see through the mirrored glass some strip lights from the offices behind the glass. Form the layout of the lights it would appear that there are three rows of per storey of office space.
