There's a couple of things I find amusing about the 'No Drawing' sign at the Stele Pavilion at the Ming Dynasty Tombs outside Beijing.
Today's photo, taken on the 'Spirit Way' to the Ming Dynasty Tombs outside Beijing shows a novel way to keep your hat on - a large bolt! Of course, in western culture, the bolt ran through the neck (Frankenstein).
On the day I visited the Great Wall outside Beijing the smog was replaced by regular, wet, mist. Being with a tour group there was no opportunity to return.
"Didn't fancy walking then?" is what I imagine the policeman standing on the left is saying to the policeman on the bike.
My last photo was of a green lady. Today's is of a man in green. I've titled it 'Hey You!' because of the two characters in the background.
Standing at the western end of the Ile aux Cygnes is the other Statue of Liberty. As it stands now, it's eyes look towards its namesake in New York.
