Today's photo is of the Lippo Center and Admiralty Center Tower - Lippo Center Tower 2, to be precise - on Hong Kong island.
At some point I took a ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong island to wander among the high-rises near the waterfront and found myself in Exchange Square.
Clearly the laundry-pole-out-the-window is a local cultural thing. I wonder what happens if you lose a garment? On a street like Pagoda Street you could probably find it in the street but if it comes off one of those poles from Block 335B, it could almost end up anywhere!
While there I took this photo from the floor my room was on, down to the lobby area on the ground floor. The plants were all real. It's interesting how the further away from the glass roof of the atrium the concrete takes on a green hue from all the plants.
