When was the last time you used a laundromat? For me it would be March 1998 just after moving to Paris and before getting the appliances installed in the apartment we rented there.
The cormorant fisherman is a feature of the Li River and other rivers near Guilin in China.
A short distance from the river weed harvester I spied these willow harvesters moored beneath a tree on the river bank.
I still find myself amazed at the stability of the bamboo rafts used in China such as this one being used by a man harvesting river weed.
In today's scene you see three water buffalo grazing by the side of the Li River. In the distance, the karst limestone peaks emerge from the haze.
