Actually I've no idea whether or not this road construction next 5 miles tag is accurate or not. It's often hard to tell distance in the desert, particularly on these hazy days.
Today's photo is of a Cat D8 (or D9, I'm not an aficionado) ripping the earth a new one - road that is.
Which Way now? Forward is not an option. I've a vague thought in the back of my mind that I hiked up this escarpment one time, but its not firm enough of a memory for me really to believe it.
This multi-chambered cave dwelling is the last in this series. Again, taken in the same area of Libya as the others I've posted recently.
Here's another room with a view from a cave dwelling in western Libya. It may be from the second chamber of the four chamber dwelling but I've no records to say it is or isn't.
