Daily Photo – Everglades 11

Another day, another photo. I've three or four days left on this subject before I move on to other images but I think I'll play out this Miami sequence first and then return to more from Malaysia.

Yesterday's photo was a view to the north. Today's swings around to the north-west. The sun is out of the frame to the left but the patchwork of leads to the under the dark to be bathed in light while the under the blue sky is wrapped in shadow. In yesterday's photo you see the trailing edge of the rain lashing down from the thunder while in today's photo you see the rain lashing down on the leading edge as the moves off to the west. The clump of trees is the one where the vultures were perched, drying off in the sun. Color image first tonight, black and white below.
