After my break in england, I returned to south africa and we moved the camp about 190 miles (300 km) from Delmas to Bothaville.
Bothaville is in the Free State on the Vals river in maize farming country.
As usual, we were camped on trash ground, a little way out of town. As the northern hemisphere was heading into spring, the southern hemisphere was heading into autumn, and that meant rain.
This photo shows the afternoon sunlight streaming through the afternoon rain clouds.
