So here we are, Day Three. I haven't found a better WordPress app so I'm stuck with the eponymous app and hoping I don't touch the wrong place on the screen and lose everything again.. I've set the auto save to every minute so we'll see how that goes.
Overnight it rained. Bar Harbor was pretty near dead, storefront after storefront posting signs reading “Closed for the Season. See you in May”. Well er, no, you won't.[ad name=”post”]
I headed out to the park Loop Road in Acadia national park, taking advantage of the frequent breaks in the cloud. I wasn't expecting to see anything from the top of Cadillac Mountain, but was pleasantly surprised for a brief while, before the cloud rolled in once more.
Leaving the park I made my way to Bass Head lighthouse before heading back down Highway 1 to get closer to Boston. As the afternoon wore on the cloud got heavier and by 5:30 a light drizzle had set end with the dusk and darkness so I stopped in Belfast for the night.
