For me, it was like looking through the portal to a hidden world. Much like my photo of the woman washing her hair, I felt a little as though I was intruding, but in this shot the cyclist can obviously see me.
Back in 1991 in China, this appeared to me to be the Chinese F150 - the 1 manpower, bicycle pickup.
I would imagine that there's a considerable need for bicycle repair men in China. Maybe these days there are more cars on the road, a lot more than in 1991 when I took this photo, bicycles are still in high demand.
Today's photo, 'Hold on Tight' was taken in Tienanmen Square in 1991. I'm not sure what the boy was watching - perhaps all us strange foreigners, perhaps another police squad marching from A to B.
