Daily Photo – A Foggy Night in Hong Kong
I'd arrived in Hong Kong on a foggy day and it was a foggy night in Hong Kong as I got ready to leave.

Today's photo is of the Royal Viking Sun, berthed in Kowloon in 1989. The Royal Viking Sun was built in 1988, one year earlier, so like the Lippo Center Towers and the Bank of China Tower, she was essentially brand new at the time I took this photo.
Today's photo is a detail of part of the northwest facade of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. Best I can tell it's pretty much the reverse angle from yesterday's shot.
Today's image is a view most likely taken from near the intersection of Garden Road and Queensway showing the dome of the Legislative Council Building, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jardine House and Exchange Square Block 1.
I'm guessing I simply spun around from where I too yesterday's shot of the Bank of China Tower to get this shot of the Lippo Center Tower 2 - or Bond Center Tower 2 as it was then.
I turned my camera horizontal once more and took a wider shot of the east face of the Bank of China Tower. Even back in 1989 my predominant shooting style was run-and-gun.
