William Wordsworth's poem, commonly known as 'Daffodils' was first written in 1804 and revised in 1815. It's the opening lines that inspired my title for today's photo. If you don't know, 'Daffodils' starts with the lines:
Today's photo is of a Caterpillar D8 (or D9, I'm not a Cat expert) cutting through the top of an escarpment to create a new pass.
Today's photo doesn't actually follow on from yesterday's Desert Shipwreck image but given the content I though Desert Flotsam was an appropriate title and now was an appropriate time to post.
