I'd arrived in Hong Kong on a foggy day and it was a foggy night in Hong Kong as I got ready to leave.
I don't remember the name of the hotel I was staying in but it was in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon. From here I was heading back to rural England so I took one more stroll along the Victoria Harbour waterfront.
By now it was drizzling once more. The cloud ceiling had stayed fairly low all day and can be seen slightly obscuring the top of the Bank of china Tower in my photos of the tower posted last week. The cloud base had lifted slightly and in the photo below you can see the aerials on top of the Bank of china Tower with their warning lights illuminated. You can also make out some lights coming from the residences on the hills of Hong Kong Island peeking through the base of the cloud.
The photo is pretty grainy. Again, 100 ISO film in pretty low light. I'm still quite pleased with the relative sharpness of the image since I would have hand-held this against a railing on the waterfront to keep the camera steady through the long exposure. Then, as now, I used the self timer to trigger the shutter so I could concentrate on pinning the camera to the railing to minimize camera shake.
