‘Popeye' is the name of the boat in the lower right corner of this image of a Paris Metro train passing over the Bir Hakeim bridge over the Seine.
The train is on my side of the bridge which means it is heading between the buildings to the Metro station, ‘Passy' just behind the buildings. The platforms at Passy butt up to the tunnels again as the line heads underground once more on its way to the Arc de Triomphe.
If you're on the side of the train facing me, you get great views of the Eiffel tower as the train crosses the bridge. Similarly, each of the windows visible in this photo has a full view of the Eiffel tower.
