The overcast skies and the anxious look to the right by my fellow passenger (yesterday's photo) heralded the arrival of a shower in Phang Nga Bay.
Not a storm, just a shower – maybe 30 minutes of rain, less than an hour for sure – but we were glad to be back in the dry on the boat.
For me personally because I didn't want to get my camera gear wet. The seas in the bay here were only running a couple of feet and the sea canoes could easily have managed them, but we would have gotten swamped and soaked. Also, we didn't want the wind driving us back onto the rocks.
Back on the boat we were able to relax and grab some lunch, and head out for our next hong.
