We old abandoned supply truck lay just a few meters from one of our survey lines in the calanscio sand sea, eastern libya. Photographed in 1991, it looks like an old Bedford truck – a precursor to the ones we used. I from the exposed truck bed it looks like a combination water tanker / cargo truck. I'd love to know the back story but guess i never will.
